Students are able to locate more credible data and information than a regular search may provide
Google Scholar acts as a digital library which can be linked to physical school libraries providing greater access to content. The ability for content creators to share their information and with an inbuilt reference function to cite in multiple formats allows students more time to focus on the readings. Croft (2015) states that search engines may not always be accurate representations and more detailed searches can help.
