A few good tools were suggested, my favourites being Google Search Education and Ngram Viewer.

Search Education has a few “google a day” challenges which helps to test students ability to code break the question and work out what they need to search for to give the answer. It also has lesson plans to help teach students how to search online to get more credible results.

Ngram sorting out terms in books over the years may not seem to link up with science that well, however, it can help to sort out what is just a trend in science or something that has been spoken about for a long time, e.g climate change and global warming didn’t really exist before the 80’s
