It seems that every tool can be used for good or evil, and not even the internet could escape it. Roblyer & Doering (2014) points out the many ways that primary students are targeted and the danger of online predators. There are however many tools which can be used to protect children online including the eSaftey Commissioner and Common Sense Media. Using these tools at a young age could prevent them from going to somewhere dangerous on the internet. I think that using these tools in high school should only be to refresh their memory otherwise it leads to digitally illiterate students.
